An aloe vera plant is a stemless or short-stemmed plant with thick, fleshy, green to grey-green leaves with small white flecks. Leaves have serrated edges and teeth on their margins. The flowers appear in the summer on spikes. This moisture-rich plant thrives indoors or outdoors year-round in only bright areas.
Aloe vera, an ornamental plant is popular as a topical medicinal plant and for its interesting flowers. It is found in many consumer products, including drinks, skin lotions, cosmetics, ointments and sunburn gel.
Care Tips
Light: It thrives in bright sunlight. When exposed to too much direct sunlight, the growth turns red instead of bright green.
Water: When 50% of the soil is dry, water it thoroughly.
Soil: Like to grow in loose, fertile, and well-drained soil that is not easily caked, and can be prepared with a mixture of peat, coconut coir and granular soil.
Temperature: Optimal growth temperature between 15 -30 ℃, the growth period is mainly in the spring and summer.
Fertilizer: Fertilize sparingly, not more than once a month, and only in the spring and summer with phosphorus-heavy, water-based fertilizer at half strength
Propagation: By Separating aloe pups, also known as aloe offsets or aloe offshoots. Remove the medium-sized aloe pup from its mother plant using a sharp, clean knife. Aloe pups should be separated with clean tools in order to avoid contamination. Plant the newly removed pup in dry cactus potting mix, or make your own with one part potting soil and one part sand. After a week, water the soil thoroughly. Afterwards, you can treat the aloe pup like any other aloe plant.

Care
Light: Partial to full sunlight
Water: Water thoroughly, allowing the top half of potting medium to dry out before watering again. The most common care problem is root rot caused by soggy potting medium. Because P. oviferum stores water in its leaves, it is more tolerant of dry potting medium than wet.
Humidity: Average room (around 40% relative humidity).
Soil: Cactus potting mix provides fast drainage, which this succulent needs.
Fertilizer: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a fertilizer specially made for succulent plants.
