It produces beautiful, variegated green and white foliage. The lance-shaped leaves are mostly white, with speckles of green that gain prominence at the edges. The variegation will be more pronounced when grown in stronger lighting, but take care with strong sunlight as this can damage the leaves.

LIGHT
Aglaonema prefers bright indirect light but can adapt to low light.
WATER
Water Aglaonema when the top 50% of the soil is dry. Water until liquid flows through the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot and discard any water that has accumulated in the saucer.
HUMIDITY
Aglaonema prefers a humid environment. Mist the leaves regularly using a Mister to raise the humidity.
TEMPERATURE
Aglaonema prefers temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s degrees of F. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
FERTILIZER
Feed once a month during the spring and summer with a liquid fertilizer for indoor plants such as our All Purpose Fertilizer (NPK 20-20-20).
TOXICITY
It is moderately toxic to pets and humans. Typically, ingestion will cause mouth and stomach irritation and possible vomiting.
ADDITIONAL CARE
When leaves dry out and turn brown, it may be caused by tap water, which can contain salts, chlorine, and fluoride. If you do not have a filtration system, leaving the tap water in an open container overnight before watering can help remove some of the chlorine and fluoride.
